Time line - to be or not to be?

Probably for quite a long time, mankind has been developing convenient forms of information visualization, the timeline is one of these forms. Literally today I found a wonderful service dipity.com that allows any user to create their own timeline, delineate access in viewing - only for themselves, friends or everyone.

The functionality is quite rich, it allows you to automatically add events to the timeline from such services as: Picassa, Twitter, WP, Last.fm, etc. The interface is beautiful and unobtrusive, continuous Ajax.
