When the truth hurts. America ... with a close look

In the midst of the American election campaign. The country chooses its president. The first, preliminary phase of this campaign has been somewhat delayed - the Democrats are not yet able to decide on their candidate. Nobody wants to give in : neither Barack Obama, nor Hillary Clinton. It seems that everything is to be solved by the so-called superdelegates: the party leadership, the governors, the congressmen. It is now easier for Republicans - they have already made their choice long ago. Their candidate, John McCain, as if following the teachings of Mao Dze Dun, watches from a height the fight of two democratic "tigers" (or in our case, if you like, donkeys), so that later, "coming down from the mountain", it is easy to tear apart an exhausted opponent. Everything goes to the fact that it will be so. History shows that in nine out of ten cases, a party that cannot name its candidate before the beginning of summer loses the autumn presidential election. But my note is not so much about the elections, although I will continue to mention them. I want to say a few words about one very, in my opinion, specific feature of American political culture.
