Greenpeace Highlighted Apple
A group of activists from the American branch of Greenpeace held a campaign to draw public attention to the use of toxic materials in high-tech manufacturing.
More than 60 people gathered on the night of the 14th to the 15th near Apple's flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York, where a glass cube with the company's logo was installed, and highlighted it with green lanterns brought with them. It should have reminded everyone that Apple has repeatedly found itself exposed to the use of hazardous materials and technologies in its manufacturing facilities in China.
