Boycott sellers online auction eBay

On May 1, 2008, a massive campaign was scheduled to ignore eBay online auction by sellers from around the world. The protesters explain the boycott by the fact that the new percentage of the commission, as well as changes in the rules of trade, are not fair and only meet the interests of large companies.

Under the new rules, which come into force at the beginning of May, the fee collected by the eBay auction after the sale of goods will be 7.25% of the transaction amount instead of the previous 5.25%. However, at the same time, the cost of placing the goods on the online auction will decrease by a third. Also, according to the new rules, merchants will not be able to comment on customer messages complaining about poor service.

These changes were initiated by eBay CEO John Donahue, who wants a crush transformation into a modern shopping center. Representatives of the online auction claim that the changes in the rules will only protect buyers from unscrupulous sellers.
