A computer for the blind becomes available

An interesting development this week was presented in Tomsk by programmer Mikhail Pozhidaev. At eighteen, Michael lost his sight, but did not leave the dream of getting a profile education programmer. This is not a simple life situation, pushing him to develop special software for blind and visually impaired people.


He calls his software the operating system for the blind. From the words of the developer himself, he did it first for himself, since the existing programs for disabled blind people did not suit him. The result was high-speed software, which has convenient functions that allow you to solve not only most of the basic tasks, such as receiving and sending mail, listening to news, etc., but also more complex programming tasks.

According to Michael himself, he is an ardent supporter of preserving the traditions of free programming, so end users will receive his product completely free of charge. The first releases of the software are posted on the project site and the developer asks for feedback and comments, which will be useful for the future development of the project.
