Facebook prepares money transfers within the "Messenger"

A Stanford University student found inside his iOS application, Messenger (a separate Facebook messaging application), a fully functional remittance feature with user-linked bank cards.

Judging by the video recorded for TechCrunch, the Function is completely ready for work - Facebook can only be turned on. Transactions are protected by a PIN code created in the application itself. The user can use a map already linked to Facebook or link a new one.

The answer to the main question is not yet known: whether the transfer will be subject to a commission. If we recall the recent news about Facebook testing of the “Buy” button , we can assume that the transfer function is needed not so much to earn money as to encourage as many users as possible to link their cards to the social network. In this case, transfers are likely to be interest-free.
