AnjLab.SyncIT - sync your tasks with Microsoft Outlook

Teamwork is unthinkable without the means to manage tasks, distribute them between team members, track changes. For this purpose, task tracking modules of such popular teamwork systems as Trac, Team Foundation Server, Salesforce, etc. are used. At the same time, it is more convenient for a person to store all his tasks, both personal and official, in a personal organizer on his computer or PDA. MS Outlook 2007 is well suited for this purpose.

There is no contradiction between these approaches; the task is to synchronize the “collective” and “personal” repositories of tasks. This problem can be solved with the help of our development SyncIT. This is a small program that is constantly running in the system tray, which periodically downloads information about new / changed tasks from the “collective” repository to the “personal” - Outlook 2007 task list. However, Outlook itself may not be running.

The source of tasks in the current version is supported by Trac , Google Code , dotProject and 1C (version 8.1), in the future we plan to expand the set of sources. The implementation of reverse synchronization is also planned - publication on the server of changes made using Outlook.

This is an open source project, source code and compiled builds are available on Google Code . You can use the “as is” product, modify it to suit your needs, and, if you wish, participate in the design and development of the project. We are waiting for your comments and suggestions.
