Adobe introduced the streaming version of Photoshop for ChromeOS

Yesterday, Chrome developers reported that Adobe had prepared a Photoshop beta for ChromeOS users. The official page of the project also says that other products from Creative Cloud will be available soon.

The application will be distributed on the principle of SaaS (Software as a Service) and will be executed not locally on the client’s computer, but in a virtualized environment, which will be accessed via a web application. All data that the user will work with will be stored in the Google Drive cloud.

At the moment, only customers in the Adobe Education category from North America can participate in the beta test.
