Geektimes - new TM project?

As you know, recently Habr has been entered in the register of Roskomnadzor. In the comments to the publication, one of the administrators Habr (@deniskin) mentioned that they have a certain hackathon on how to solve this situation, that some of the information will be submitted to a new project.

It became interesting to me and I decided to play Sherlock Holmes.

First of all, I began to study the TM and TM ID home page - I did not find any hitch or easter eggs (including in the source pages). However, the first snag was found "on the surface": I went to the Habr group on VK.com and from there I went into the profile of the public administrator - a certain group of GeekTimes was found in his group list, which apparently (1 subscriber) was created only recently.

I decided to search this name in different domain zones. It did not take long to search - the first mention was in the domain zone .RU, and the domain was registered on Private Person and more recently - on September 9 (apparently, it was on this day at the TM office that it smelled fried).

The second catch was already in the domain zone .COM, the new owner of which is someone Denis Kryuchkov. It is curious that this domain was registered as early as 2001 (judging by the web archive), when Habr was not there. That is, the domain, most likely, was purchased recently.

For me personally, the combination of the above hypotheses is enough to make a conspiracy puzzle: TM is really preparing a new project, which, apparently, will be called GeekTimes. Several domain names have been procured for it (both in RU and in the COM-zone, although this is not a problem for the registry), social network accounts have been registered.

Given that everything was called a “hackathon”, we can conclude that release can be expected soon.

Riddle for me is that which will be located on the new project. It is unlikely that this will be some kind of super-secret and super-closed community. Moreover - from the name it is easy to guess that it will be something “Gikovsky” (IT) and “Time” (glossy? News? By analogy with NewYorkTimes). Perhaps the new project will make all that is not related to programming, to make Habr as technical as possible. If so, then personally I will only be glad.

What are your guesses?
