Google changed the developer agreement, leaving the right to remove applications from user devices

On September 25, Google made changes to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement . Most of the changes are not very interesting, because there is nothing critical there, but there are some very interesting points.

For example, in clause 7.2, there is the sentence "If your product contains it." Thus, if Google considers that a developer’s product can damage something to a user's device or user data on a device, such an application can be disabled or removed from the user's device.

In addition, there are other additions that developers should pay attention to. For example, a developer of a paid application is now obliged to respond to an application user request within three days. If the question is urgent (how the urgency will be determined, it is not clear yet), then it is necessary to answer it within 24 hours. If the developer violates this rule, his rating may be lowered, and the user's payment will be returned. In case of systematic violations, the developer can be completely excluded from the Play Market.

There is also a point directly relating to the European Union. So, from January 1 of the new year, Google will provide for the collection and payment of VAT from each purchase of an application in the EU.
