Optimize the table

Quite often I see the following picture:

An ordinary computer desk, quite typical, though clean enough and neat. My, on the contrary, is filled with all sorts of papers, documents, disks, printouts, a cup of tea, and God knows what else.
The biggest drawback is that all these little things take place on the surface of the table and it turns out that the three-dimensional space occupied by the table does not correspond at all to its almost two-dimensional functionality.
But you can look at the picture from a slightly different angle:

The advantages of the approach are obvious - an increase in the free space of the table surface. But there are some disadvantages:
  1. Fastening - if the hands do not have excessive curvature and torsion, then to build such a structure is not difficult. Problems may arise in the fact that in the workplace a little bit of a remake of the table may not be given, such problems will not arise at home
  2. Convenience of work - in this case the problem may arise in the fact that you will have to work with an inverted image. By means of any operating system, turning the picture is not a problem, but I have no idea how to do this, say, when loading a BIOS.
  3. Appearance - in this case, we get not quite a traditional design, which may seem miserable and ugly. It's a matter of taste.

So: we get a saving of the working surface of the table, approximately equal to the foot area of the monitor plus the area behind the foot of the monitor, through a small one-time exposure.
