Europe will cut all wireless devices with the same comb

Representatives of the European Commission announced the imminent adoption of a new communication standard for wireless devices, which will allow them to work without conflict with each other, reports Business Week .

Thus, the developers of the standard assure that device manufacturers will be relieved of the need to obtain a license for their products in different countries - they will be replaced by a single license, and one device will be suitable for sale in the entire domestic market. For consumers, this means lower prices and increased convenience at work. Analysts predict that the adoption of a new standard will provoke a boom in sales of various wireless devices - in 2009 their sales in Europe will amount to 25 billion euros.

The list of wireless devices that will operate under a “single license” includes radio headphones, RFID chips, and much more.
