Last Friday, the runet was in a fever from the announced plans to discuss the possibility of disconnecting Russia from the global Internet "in emergency situations" at the next Security Council, which took place today. However, according to the media, the RF Security Council postponed the discussion of Runet isolation.



Now RBC reports that an expanded meeting of the Russian Security Council, at which countering threats in the information sphere will be discussed, will supposedly be held on October 1. At the same time, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov did not confirm this date to the publication:

This does not necessarily happen in early October, there is no clear plan.
