Night hackathon Games Coding Night at Igromir
In early October, the largest conference of game developers and the igromir exhibition will be held in Moscow. We decided to add to these events another interesting event for novice developers, and we will organize a special night hackathon, Games Coding Night, within the framework of the game world. Hackathon will be held on the night of 2 to 3 October 2014.
Even if you have never tried yourself in game development - register , come, and the very next day you will be able to boast of a self-developed game for Windows or Windows Phone, and maybe even for virtual reality glasses or Kinect.
On the hackathon, you will learn about the features of game development on various gaming platforms (HTML5, Unity , XNA, Monogame , etc.), learn how to program Kinect for Windows, hear advice from gurus of the gaming industry, learn how to make virtual reality glasses yourself , and of course You can devote a whole night to coding in the company of like-minded people with pizza, coffee and gingerbread . Among the experts of the hackathon are Tatiana Smetanina, Dmitry Andreev and Dmitry Soshnikov (Microsoft), Valentin Simonov (Unity), Alexander Bragin (Mail.ru).

We start in the evening on October 2 at 19.00 in the Aquarium Hotel (Crocus Expo, Myakinino Metro)! More information about the schedule and the need to take on the hackathon (and this is your laptop with installed development tools - Visual Studio , Unity3D , etc.) - on the registration page . The best projects to be developed on the hackathon will receive prizes!
It’s better to come up with some idea of a game application that you would like to develop - but even that is not necessary! We will help you to come up with the idea of a gaming application with which you can learn, and later - possibly - and earn. The application developed on the hackathon can be the basis for a project submitted to the Imagine Cup competition , the start of its startup, as well as just a good line in the resume and a separate subject for pride.
