"Beta is being tested" Golden WiFi network
Golden Telecom has begun the final deployment phase of the Golden WiFi network. Its beta testing phase will end in the first quarter of 2007. Further, for access via Golden WiFi will have to pay.
The beta phase of the network implies user registration. WiFi access remains free until the end of the test mode, but anyone who wants to use the service must register, the company reports.
As noted earlier, as part of this project, Golden Telecom plans to offer universal Internet access services for most of the nearly 3.9 million families living in Moscow. The single package of the offer will include Internet telephony services via the VOIP protocol.
