Shutdown Day: 03 May, 2008

“Can you survive the day without a computer?” Under this tagline there will be a flashmob-action “Shutdown Day” (literally, “Off Day”). On this day, May 3, the organizers offer us to turn off your computer for exactly a day, thereby saving on electricity. So far on the site www.shutdownday.org 3027 participants have been announced. Also, prizes for the best photo and video on the theme “a day without a computer” are drawn.
