FeedBurner will collect statistics on blog traffic

The feed management service FeedBurner plans to introduce in the near future a system for collecting statistics not only for RSS, but also for sites in general. Thanks to the use of the Blogbeat service technology acquired by the company in the summer of 2006 , users will be able to view statistics on visits to their blogs: number of visitors, incoming and outgoing links, geography of attendance, etc.

Currently, closed testing of new service functions is underway. FeedBurner users will be able to see these features in action in early 2007.
