The Ministry of Economic Development will communicate with citizens through its website

The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation launched the Public Reception Internet system on its website . Going to the section "Appeals of citizens", everyone can send a request to the ministry - to register, for example, to receive an appointment with the deputy minister or heads of departments. The ministry promises to respond to citizens' requests.

The Ministry of Economic Development explains that the opening of the public reception was possible after the adoption of the law on the procedure for considering citizens' appeals, Prime-TASS reported. This law equates paper documents and appeals coming through public information systems.

“I hope that the introduction of the system will allow not only to put into practice the new rule of law, but also increase the level of public control over the activities of the authorities,” said Economic Development Minister German Gref.
