"Classmates" got on the cover of the book, require 200 thousand rubles.

“When Kirill Batsypa came to the mountains to meet classmates, he could not even imagine that he would expect some cool adventures. It all started with the fact that the tenant of the hunting lodge, where school friends gathered, took them hostage. Then a large dollar amount, intended for their release, was attempted by the gangsters. But then a terrible thing happened ... One by one, under strange circumstances, people would die. Apparently, they were victims of a huge bear-rod, which wandered around the neighborhood. "

This is the plot of the action-packed novel “The Rod” (2005) of Russian grafoman Andrei Dyshev, who stamps ten books a year. And everything would be fine, but the second edition of the book, which has just been published, has already been published under a different name and in a different design.

One glance at the new design is enough to understand why the Odnoklassniki Company, which owns the eponymous site, sued the publishing house Eksmo and demands compensation in the amount of 200 thousand rubles. Here is a card of the case on the site of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

According to experts, the outcome of the case is not as obvious as it seems, because the Odnoklassniki logo has been remade very skillfully, and the social network itself is an integral part of the book’s plot (it seems that the plot was specially remade in the spirit of the new time). Obviously, a special examination will be established, which will determine the similarity of design. How many copies of the book will be sold during all these months during the consideration of the case - we can only guess.
