And all because in Nevada Tesla will receive quite significant tax benefits, the total amount of which for 20 years will amount to 1.3 billion US dollars.

This is considerable money even for Elon Musk and Tesla. Of course, such savings will allow the company to more effectively dispose of available funds, and to make production less expensive.

And for the state of Nevada itself, the construction of such a huge facility as the Tesla battery factory is many billions of financial injections into the state economy (it is worth recalling that the total construction cost is estimated at $ 5 billion), 3,000 jobs at the time of the factory construction and 6,500 jobs after its construction and other similar positive changes.



One of the clauses of the contract between the leadership of Tesla and the leadership of the state of Nevada is Tesla's obligation to form the staff of a new factory for 50% of Nevada residents.

It is also worth recalling that the main partner of Tesla in this project, in addition to state authorities, will be Panasonic. The company will be responsible for the equipment used to manufacture the battery cells. Tesla will build the entire factory, including infrastructure networks, and will collect batteries from Panasonic-created cells.
