Ukrainian Internet market. What has changed in the last year?
For more than 5 years I have been working in the field of Internet projects in Ukraine, I would like to share my thoughts on what has changed in the Uanet over the past year.
1. Advertising.
It has definitely become more, although not in all subjects. Increased attendance of projects - increased the cost of advertising. Many new advertising agencies appeared, managers fled from the existing ones and opened their own. And with the growth in the number of new agencies, the quality of services provided to customers has improved. Sites began to be selected more carefully, the statistics, site age, traffic sources and so on are analyzed.
2. Sales and investments.
Over the last year, there were a number of sales of successful projects in the hell, moreover, for quite normal money. Among the sales are: UAPortal, Price.ua, META, Mobile, A.ua, Join.ua and others. And sales attract even more investment, and they appeared, and massively.

3. Specialists.
Money spawned many new specialists. Students KPI finally passed all the sessions, and realized that the Internet is promising, and all rushed there. What the "favorites" used to know, now almost everyone knows.
4. Startups.
Yes, startups also began to appear in Ukraine, of course, for the most part they were stupid clones of Western or Russian counterparts, but nonetheless they began to appear like mushrooms after rain. People who understand and do not understand the Internet climb over there with their heads, they want easy money. Everyone wants their site, and millions of dollars in addition, but not all at the same time understand the specifics of the market. Social networks also have a place.
5. Wars of traffic generators.
Traffic Giants of the Ukrainian Internet began to fight, and multiply. Marketgid vs. Redtram, the appearance of news.meta.ua, ua.readme.ru, and the masses of others. 4 cents porn traffic with 100% Ukrainian traffic and 2 cents without targeting goes bang, everyone buys! The blocks of the redtram and the market are hung on all sites like holey socks, everyone understands that there is rubbish, but no one wants to refuse - the position in the ranking is more expensive.
