According
to US media, the Georgia Auto Dealers Association has
sent a formal request
to local authorities to revoke Tesla’s license to sell cars in that state.
The essence of the claim is that Tesla Motors sold through its company store (the only one in Georgia), 25 miles from Atlanta, 173 cars, while, according to car dealers, according to state rules, it was possible to sell only 150 cars per year. And once the rules have been violated, there must be a punishment - in the form of a license revocation.

“Everything is simple - we want them to follow the rules, as we all do,” said President of the Georgia Car Dealers Association, Bill Mori.
If the
store in Georgia is closed, then potential buyers will either have to go to another store 4 hours before Nashville, 6 hours before Tampa, or more than 8 hours before St. Louis. There are not so many people willing to go this way to look at the car, and sales will fall. Even on a test drive in an electric vehicle in the state will be very difficult to enroll.
Yahoo News autoexpert Stephen Lang believes that auto dealers are trying to force Tesla to cooperate - if the company sells electric cars through their networks, they will be forced to pay sales deductions (as competitors of the company Elon Mask Chevrolet with their Volt and Nissan with the Leaf model do). At the moment, the company sells its cars directly in order to independently control the work with clients.
