HLC MiLeap - Indian rival ASUS eeePC

Microsoft Corporation and the Indian company HCL Infosystems have announced an expansion of cooperation .
The companies announced plans to create a joint center for advanced research, as well as to launch production of the most inexpensive laptops with pre-installed Windows XP Home Edition in India.

With a price not high laptop has excellent characteristics. The MiLeap model will be equipped with a pivoting seven-inch display with support for sensory input, an inexpensive Intel processor, integrated Intel 945 GU Express graphics adapter, 1GB DDR2 RAM, Wi-Fi and Ethernet controllers, a 1.3 megapixel camera, built-in speakers and special buttons to control media player. Weight MiLeap will be about one kilogram.

In India, the estimated cost of a laptop is 17,000 rupees (about 400 USD). Such a low price is quite justified with such a wonderful set.
