In the “ Ribbon ” section (which is available only to registered users), the tabs for sorting “Hacked / New / Fragile” publications are renamed into more understandable “Interesting” tabs (with a rating of ≥ 7) and “Everything in a row” (for all the time, not just for the last 24 hours; if you are subscribed to all hubs, then this is an analogue of the “All publications” section that was before). In this case, the site remembers which tab you were in - it will also be opened when you next enter the section.
In each hub similar changes. Instead of the sections (“Hacked / New / Oversized”) now “Interesting” (with a rating of ≥ -2), “Best” (with a rating of more than 50) and “Everything in a row”.
In the “ Publications ” section, the sorting of publications into “Thematic” and “Corporate” is dismantled - now only sorting by rating: Best for a day / week / month / all time .
Thus, the structure of the site has become simpler and clearer. We abandoned the old sorts that the audience practically did not use and got rid of the jargon: now there are no “posts” everywhere, but “publications”. Not "zahabrennoe", and "interesting." ')
In the "Sandbox" now two subsections:
They expect to invite - a list of articles from read only site users who dream of becoming full-fledged members of the community. If you find an interesting article in this section and you suddenly have a free invite - do a good deed!
We received an invite - a list of articles, the authors who have successfully passed the test of the sandbox.
More of the changes:
The section " Publications " has an additional filter by headings. The headings names are identical to the names of the main categories of hubs. The new filter allows you to sort and get, for example, a list of publications from all hubs in the " Programming " section.
Redesigned custom ribbon settings page. Now you don’t have to poke around in the narrow block of the right column, instead of it there’s a separate page with additional settings.
Manipulations of some users with karma and bots forced us to complicate the voting mechanism a little. Now you can not positively vote for the user's karma, if there is not a single post posted on his account. Similarly, voting will not work if there is enough karma, but there are no published posts. Thus, now only those who have passed the test through posting publications on the site can influence the authors of published posts.
Numerous fixes for the site layout and our new mail digest.
