Unity Android - now on x86!

image Did you know that almost half of mobile game developers use Unity engine in their creations? And the fact that Unity has about three million registered developers? In fact, it is not necessary to know this at all - this is what marketers need for Unity, but for game creators, this information is useless.

But the information is really useful: As it was announced yesterday, Unity3D versions 4.x and 5.x will receive native support for the x86 architecture on Android, that is, they will work on devices with Intel processors on Android OS directly, and not through a binary translation, like now. Moreover, they will work as fast as possible, since Unity will turn on optimization for the Intel CPU (Atom family) and the GPU.
