What to expect from the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4

In 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Note appeared. The display with a diagonal of 5.29 inches is its main distinguishing feature. The display resolution is 800x1280, which is already not enough for such a screen. The smartphone runs on a Samsung Exynos 4210, 1400 MHz dual-core processor.
Bonus - stylus.
In October of the following, 2012, the successor appeared on sale: Galaxy Note II. The display has grown to 5.55 inches. The resolution of the SuperAMOLED display is 1280 × 720 pixels. Added and cores - Note II is built on a quad-core Exynos 4412, 1600 MHz.
In the next model, Note III, the display has grown again - to 5.7 inches. The resolution is 1920 × 1080, and the processor is either the eight-core Exynos 5 Octa 5420 in the 3G version, or the Snapdragon 800 quad core 2.3ghz in the LTE version. Again, there is support for the S-Pen stylus, as in previous models.

It was rumored that the body would be made of an alloy of magnesium and aluminum. Judging by this photo, the authenticity of which has some doubts, the back cover will be covered with textured leather, the front part of the case will be made of glass and plastic, and the side faces will have a new design. The design of the front part is slightly different from the Note III.
If you believe Upleaks, the smartphone will be presented in five colors: white, pink, gold, black and blue.
As in the case of the third Note, the new phablet will have two variants of processors. By the way, their results are already available in Antutu Benchmark.
The first option is the Exynos 5433 processor. These are four 64-bit Cortex-A57 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. The second option - Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, that is, 4 32-bit core Krait 450 and graphics Adreno 420.
The display resolution of the new Note 4 will match the diagonal of 5.75 inches: it is 2560x1440 Quad HD. Of the phones that already have such a resolution, there are only LG G3 and Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro.
There are a couple of models with Quad HD display , but in Russia they are not common - these are Vivo and Oppo, owned by BBK.

The company presented this development last year at CES 2013 - a flexible display.
The main camera of 16 megapixels will allow you to shoot video with a resolution of 3840 by 2160. In Note III was 13 megapixels, and in the first smartphone of the line - only 8 megapixels. Such changes occurred over 3 years. The main camera is equipped with a Sony IMX240 sensor. The same sensor was used in the LTE-version of the Galaxy S5 for the Korean market.
As for the front camera, for the last few years the company has often used a 2.1 megapixel camera, this time it has changed this tradition and installed 3.7 megapixels, allowing to make themselves with a resolution of 2560x1440.
Perhaps, Note 4 uses Side Touch technology, which they did not add to the Galaxy S5 at the beginning of the year. The technology is as follows: instead of a physical button for a photo located at the bottom of the right end of the case, you just need to tap on this part of it.
Before the release of the Galaxy S5, there were rumors about the possible use of the retina scanner module in it. And the other day the Exynos-division of the company published the following image: on it we see a rather large smartphone, which, perhaps, represents Note 4. So, perhaps, Note 4 will use protection in the form of an iris scanner.
I included this point in the article only because of one advertised accessory: because of the cover, which will help to identify obstacles with the help of ultrasound. I hope this technology can be used to improve the lives of visually impaired people. If this works out, then I will definitely write about the applications and applications in the continuation of this article .

Users will also be able to change the range of ultrasonic signals and select one of three levels: short, medium and long.
