Alternative GBIC Modules for Cisco Catalyst
Given: Cisco Catalyst 4503 switch with multiport optical module supporting GBICs.
Not given: native tsiskovsky GBIC WS-G5486 (now you will not find them in Moscow and, besides, they are expensive).
Task: to find a module from another manufacturer that would work with a katalist.

UPD: As it turned out , there are hidden commands for iOS that allow you to install any module that is physically compatible. But, in some cases, it is for Catalist 4500 that IOS SG is required.
