How to create a startup, bring it to the international market, attract investment and open a representative office in Silicon Valley?
To get answers to these and other questions, Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, with the support of the
GeeksLab project
, invites you to the three-day program “
Creating a global IT startup-a ”, which will be held
August 7-9 in Kiev. The author and teacher of the program is an entrepreneur from Silicon Valley, the CEO of
rollApp, Vlad Pavlov (Palo Alto, California).
During training, we consider the life cycle of a startup from three points of view:
- an entrepreneur - choosing a business idea, creating an international team, business model, incorporation, getting visas, etc.
- investor - “internal mechanics” of the work of venture funds, criteria for investment decisions, the process of interaction between the investor and a startup, etc .;
- organizational and logistical issues - how not to step on a rake.
During the seminar, live meetings and space bridges with stellar representatives of the region will also be held, namely:
- Max Skibinsky (San Francisco) - partner of the Andreessen Horowitz Foundation, in the past created 7 of his startups, and also was an investor / advisor in a large number of other companies;
- Ihor Shoifot (San Francisco) - a serial entrepreneur and investor, founder of more than 10 and an investor in more than 40 startups in Silicon Valley, head of the board of the largest Ukrainian business incubator Happy Farm;
- Yevgeny Sysoev (Kiev), managing partner of AVentures Capital, on the recent iForum he was named the most influential person in the Ukrainian venture capital market;
- Evelyn Buchatsky (Kiev) - managing partner of the EastLabs accelerator;
- Maxim Shkolnik (Kiev) is the founder of the Address.ua project, formerly SVP at Viewdle and managing partner at Technobridge venture company;
- Nikolay Mityushin (Moscow) - investment director of the ABRT Venture Fund venture fund;
- Sergey Toporov (Moscow) - Senior Investment Manager of the Venture Fund Leta Capital.
During the first two days, participants will listen to lectures, carry out practical tasks and communicate with guest speakers, on the third day a business game will take place that will allow in practice to design a technology startup business and prepare it to attract venture capital investments.
