Most recently, our small hackathon took place, in which we wrote a social network in 48 hours - and now, today, the iOS client has become available in public access. We have been testing the system under high load for quite a long time, arguing with Apple, providing the necessary papers on product registration, minor bug fixes - but, finally, our brainchild is online.

I ask you to turn to Sweater with the humor inherent in our people. We do not in any way claim to popularity, fame, money or women. The very idea of ​​writing Twitter for 48 hours did not let me sleep from the moment I started working with professional development teams. What a joke - to kill the weekend for the useless project.

Most importantly - it's alive!

There were many problems before the development - they couldn’t take it up at all, and during that time - I didn’t have a broadcast, and after that - the apple company didn’t want to publish our application. I do not argue, there are existing bugs, there are bugs that we fix - you need to start somewhere. The head of our server development put forward the correct suggestion - publish bug reports and any information related to the development of the Sweater under the #develop tag. Join us, friends! We need your help.

The middle

Many will ask, they say, what is the difference between the service and Twitter? First, we are in Russia - if, suddenly, Twitter ceases to support our country for any reason unknown to a reasonable person, then we will easily help you stay up to date with what the development team ate for breakfast. Secondly, we do not cooperate with any of the special special gangs known to us (a list of special agencies with which we do not cooperate ). Thirdly, we are actively developing according to your requests. Write your wishes under the #developer tag, and we will try to implement them.

I sincerely hope that this small joke will inspire novice developers to create new, more precisely, necessary services. After all, it turned out to be so simple - to sit down and assemble the server component, the mobile client and pull the layout.

By the way, at the moment in development is Android client Sweater and web-face. Not only owners of iOS devices, but also all users of the world wide web will be able to use it very soon.
