Google releases in beta 64-bit version of Chrome web browser

Google Chrome web browser developers have announced a long-awaited version of the browser for users, which has native support for 64-bit versions of Windows. True, so far only in beta. Previously, this feature was present only in the experimental version of the browser, which is called Canary . In the new version, Chrome executables are compiled as 64-bit, in addition, they have support for the strong ASLR ( High Entropy ASLR ) that appeared in Windows 8. Note that similar security features (64-bit processes for tabs and support for HEASLR) are only provided by Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1 x64 with the corresponding security options. Also, both browsers support sandboxing technologies for tab processes, but implement them differently. Google Chrome relies on the capabilities of the special task object and Deny SID, and IE11 on the Integrity Level mechanism built into Windows 8 - AppContainer.
