The simplest application for Android E112VA will allow you to send a message to the owner of the car that is being evacuated. The application is really simple - just enter the car number and press the button.

The owner of the car being evacuated will receive an SMS message “Your car will be evacuated!” (The application does not need to do this). He will have 10-15 minutes to remove a wrongly parked car, as according to the law, if the car has not yet been taken away, it must be returned to the owner (a reference to the relevant legislative act is sought ).

How it works

To work with the application, you must first register with the Unified Mobile Platform (EMP) of the Government of Moscow. Registration and sending messages are completely free . To register in the EMP through the application you will need to specify the number of your car. The car number will be tied to your phone number in the EMP. Already about 60'000 Moscow drivers tied the phone number to the car number in the EMP. A similar binding will be made on the application server - in case of unavailability of the EMP.

An Internet connection is not required for registration and for the application to work. Messaging occurs through free SMS. The SMS sent does not contain the sender’s phone number, but the sender’s car number. In fact, the application only automates the sending of SMS, and then waits for a response. Why it does not work through the API? One of the stories of getting access to the API has already been described in detail on Habré - if you don’t pay attention to the deadlines, then you need to send a paper (!) Application form with all your personal data.

Messages can be exchanged without the application. But for this you need:

• remember the number to which messages are sent;
• remember the code to send SMS;
• enter the vehicle number in the SMS (where it is not checked);
• manually specify the message text.
