The performance of data encryption (using the AES / 3DES algorithm) is 50 Mb / s, while modern counterparts show a performance of several hundred Mb / s. This piece of hardware was sharpened only for receiving users, the new hardware also protects network assets from attacks, prevents intrusions (IPS), provides content security services, including URL filtering, protection from phishing, spam, spyware, antivirus software and content filtering. .
Series 1700 , Cisco 1711 and 1751 - went off sale in 2007, with support - in the middle of 2012. This router turned out to be very convenient for ATMs, just like the native size. Simple, reliable, quality. Would put up to 2020, if not for the termination of support.
Cisco 2501 , left the sale in 2002, with support in 2008. Ten years have not been used.
It is stored in the warehouse as a donor of spare parts: what if someone else needs to be replaced in some old system. Another couple of years - and go to the museum, I guess.
Cisco 2610 and Cisco 3660 : went off sale in 2003, with support in 2008. Sometime - high-performance routers:
Cisco 7920 phone (left) : one of the first Cisco Wi-Fi phones, support ended in 2009. Monochrome screen, large antenna. On the right is a more modern version - the screen is color, the battery is smaller. Some of our employees go with such.
