London is now available in 3D on Google Maps

In the capital of Great Britain you can now take a virtual tour. London is the fifth city in the UK, which is now available in 3D on both Google Maps and Google Earth. Reading, Leeds, Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent became the previous four UK settlements that became available in the 3D version.

As usual, the three-dimensional image can be enlarged, reduced, rotated and carried out other manipulations.

Previously, in the volumetric version, some tourist attractions were available, but now the volumetric is the image of the entire city. So, if you wish, you can explore London remotely, for example, before a business trip.

Google began to add textures in 2006, but only two years ago, the company began to add a large number of 3D elements to their map services.
