I stumbled upon a message saying that our universally-loved (I hope) game had turned 10 years old! I will give the whole text:
On March 31, StarCraft's legendary strategy celebrated its tenth anniversary. On the occasion of this anniversary, the authors of the game from Blizzard Entertainment have published on their website a short review of the popular universe with a list of its main achievements. Here are just a few interesting facts from the life of StarCraft:
in ten years of its existence, the project has sold over 9.5 million copies in the world;
the game is still one of the most popular online projects in the world, even though a whole decade has passed since its release;
StarCraft has made a real revolution in the genre of RTS, defining the path of its development for the years ahead;
project multiplayer is still a kind of benchmark for developers of online universes.
Full version of the anniversary material (in English), read on the site Blizzard. ')
Interestingly, are there many fans of this game? I agree with the article, 10 years, and the game is still interesting! Rarely meet something like that. I hope the second part will be just as durable and high-quality game.
