Designers with a portfolio is simple. At least, not harder than with normal daily work.
And what about web programmers? After all, often we cannot
show anything at all: you can see the finished website through the design prism, and your code, of course, will not be read and evaluated.
I came to the conclusion that for a programmer the main thing is to show that he has brains. How to "show brains"? My options are:
- Keep a thematic blog.
- Publish your software, even if small utilities - everyone has them. And everyone has a code library.
- Participate in opensource projects.
- Get certified. Still, Zend Certified Engineer says a lot.
