Registrars are urged not to cheat on phishers.

Mikko Hypponen, head of antivirus research at F-Secure, addressed the domain name registrars, urging them to refuse to issue domains that can be used by phishers.

As an example, Mikko Hypponen brought the domain name signin-ebay-c.com, which was registered by a certain Craig Smith (Craig Smith). In the case of a transition to this address, a fake site, depicting an eBay online auction, is opened, and the user is prompted to enter a login and password, which, of course, are being stolen. “Isn't it obvious why such an address is needed?”, Asks Mikko Hypponen. He also notes that in the contact information during registration often deliberately false information, for example, Mr. Smith and telephone number 123142311 is often indicated.
