"Bodies" search the offices of several IT-companies in Moscow

Today, employees of several IT companies, having come to work, found armed masked people in offices who were searching for premises. According to a CNews source, the “organs” came with a check to the Moscow office of IBM, located on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, as well as to the premises of Russian firms R-Style and LANIT. The purpose of the search is not yet clear. From the words of eyewitnesses, it follows that the “masked men” are employees of the Economic Crimes Enforcement Administration (UBEP) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Lenta.ru , searches are conducted in the offices of employees, where, in particular, their personal belongings are checked. “If they find what they are looking for, they will suspend the company's activities,” said one of the representatives of the Economic Crimes Department, participating in the audit of LANIT. According to a source at LANIT itself, the UBEP needs information on its affiliated legal entities. The source noted that law enforcement officers found employees in the team working for LANIT illegally.
