There are even more smart watches: the other day there was information about FiDELYS , an interesting device that differs from its analogues by the presence of some truly unique functions.

These watches, as far as can be understood from the description provided by the developers, can be used as a security / authentication system, thanks to the embedded technology Iris Verification. Plus, FiDELYS can be charged using wireless charging.

Appearance

In principle, this watch can be called very similar to Moto 360. Approximately the same size, round display, same “dead zone” at the bottom of the screen. True, in the Moto 360 there is nothing at all, but here is a spy laser - the destructor of the iris reader.

The metal bezel is ribbed, it is not made for beauty (or rather, not only for beauty), but to facilitate its rotation. The bezel is the main element of the control system; there are simply no functional buttons.



Among other things, the watch is waterproof and dustproof (according to the standard IP-67, which means protection from strong jets of water from all sides).

Iris Identification

The most interesting feature is the user iris authentication system. At the bottom of the display is a scanner, Iris Verification, which allows you to identify a person by the unique structure of the iris of his eye. They say it is more reliable than a fingerprint scanner.

Next to the scanner is an infrared LED that allows you to work with Iris Verification and in the dark / low light.

Fitness tracker

Actually, the standard is already a function for smart watches. Advanced this tracker can not be called. There is only a heart rate monitor and pedometer, which, in principle, is quite enough for the average person.

Wireless charger

Both inductive and magnetic resonance charging are supported, so there should be no problems with recharging the battery. Of course, wireless charging is still not very common, but the situation is slowly changing.

Price and order

On July 9, a fundraising campaign will be launched to launch mass production of the device, at the Indiegogo site. The first pre-orders can be made at a price of $ 200. The full price of the device will be $ 350.
