Testing a new product: online insurance module

We are testing a new module in Payler - an online insurance module that we do in conjunction with VTB Insurance.

The idea of ​​the module is simple: to make it possible for online stores to offer their customers instant registration of insurance for the purchased goods. In this case, the module is autonomous and can be connected in parallel with any payment system. For us, this module is a separate product, our customers can connect to it automatically. We want to invite those who wish to participate in the testing system.



How it works: when buying something from an online store, for example, an expensive device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, favorite gift), in addition to the payment window, the user sees a checkbox with an offer to insure goods for a certain amount. Further, he specifies the criteria for insurance, which differ in the limits of coverage of insured events and, accordingly, the timing and cost. Then the card is paid and the insurance policy arrives in the mail.

A similar project was implemented by VTB Insurance.



This product is currently a test and we are in the UI adjustment stage. The basis we want to put only the user experience. For example, now they set the maximum time for the entire operation of the insurance service - 3 minutes. We carry out test groups measuring the time of use and investigate which steps require reductions and which can be skipped with a probability of 99%.
