Studies conducted at TU Berlin together with Telekom Innovation Laboratories have shown that it is possible to “see” the image on the screen using the integrated front-facing camera. From the first attempt it became possible to follow the user’s clicks on the display by the reflection in his pupils alone.

For the tests, the Oppo N1 was equipped with a 13-megapixel rotating camera. Through a special application, access to the camera of the phone was obtained and photos of the user's eyes were taken, from which the displayed screen image was taken. In the case of glasses it is still simpler, the image becomes much better and the requirements for the camera are reduced.
