Office Transformation

A separate office used to be considered an indispensable attribute of doing business. However, now the very concept of “office” has been greatly transformed - some companies work without an office at all, “checking clocks” at weekly meetings in cafes where there is Wi-Fi, someone uses “distributed office” services like WebEx from Cisco, prefers to work every time in a new place, using BEING SPACES as a workplace, and someone, as members of this collective blog, prefers to work in joint offices in a company of people similar in their life interests.

Since the goal of the community blog “Coworking: Work 2.0” is to “promote this undoubtedly positive movement in our country”, I decided to make a contribution to promoting the concept of “shared offices” :), writing an article about it in "Money". And the purpose of this topic is to start a discussion on the discussion of the pros and cons of the use cases listed in the first paragraph (or vice versa - non-use) of offices so that the article is as interesting and informative as possible.

So, I will list again these options:
')
1. Work without an office , as Mann, Ivanov and Ferber , a very successful business literature publisher, does - the advantages are outlined by Mikhail Ivanov in an article in his corporate blog that has been referenced, do you think there are any cons? By the way, does someone else know examples of successful companies that work without an office?

2. Using the concept of a “distributed office” by organizing the work of employees using Internet services like WebEx - what, in your opinion, are the pros and cons of this work pattern? Do you know examples of Russian companies or teams that work under this scheme? Are there any Russian analogues of WebEx?

3. Using BEING SPACES for work - the pros and cons of this version of the "office". Is one of those present working this way? If so, do you want to share your experience?

4. Coworking , or, as I prefer to call it, “shared office”. What are the benefits of coworking that most attract you (the opportunity to negotiate with clients in your own office, communicate with yourself like freelancers and teams, the opportunity to gain experience from teams working nearby or something else)? Separately, please contact me with those who have either already opened or are about to open a co-working office in Russia - no matter in which city (unless, of course, the owner of this office is not against free PR in Money :)).

I deliberately do not express here my thoughts on these all options, so as not to set the direction of the discussion in my own words. Thank you in advance for the opinions expressed :).
