Teams from Russia took the first two places in the World Programming Championship

In Yekaterinburg, the ACM ICPC (ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest) students' team programming world championship ended. The winner was St. Petersburg State University, and Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov took second place. The teams of the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (NRU ITMO) and the National Research University Higher School of Economics also won prizes, the website of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media said.

The team that won the championship final will receive a reward of $ 12,000. Teams that take second and third places will receive $ 6,000, respectively.
