The school’s program includes six core courses, a plenary course and sponsor reports, as well as the RuSSIR Young Scientist Conference for young scientists.

Basic courses :

Students, graduate students, researchers and developers are invited to participate in the school. In total, it is planned to receive up to 120 listeners. Participation is free; for those who need it, the organizers provide grants for accommodation (the number is limited).

I want to participate! What to do?

To take part in RuSSIR 2014, you must fill out an application and send a poster report or a scientific article describing your work - development or scientific research.

Work must correspond to the subject of the school, and may relate to one of the following areas (the list is not complete)

Work must be done in English.

Poster article (poster paper) - the easiest way to participate in school. It is a short two-page work for presentation at the poster session. The work may contain already published material or a study in progress (work-in-progress). A poster “based on” term, degree, bachelor or master's work is a perfectly suitable option. Poster articles are very "loyal" review. For developers who are not engaged in active scientific work, a poster session is a great opportunity to talk about your project, discuss the task with an interested and qualified public, and get to know like-minded people.

How to prepare an poster article, was described in detail in last year's post .

Much more stringent requirements are imposed on a full-fledged scientific article (full paper). But then, the articles selected as a result of the review will be published in this international scientific journal from the series “ Communications in Computer and Information Science ” (it is indexed in the international base Scopus and is on the list of VAK ).

The article should contain the original, nowhere else unpublished research. Its maximum volume is 12 pages. Work must be framed in accordance with the template Springer template . To submit a PDF-document with the text of the article should use the service EasyChair . Selected works will be presented at the RuSSIR Young Scientist Conference at the summer school. For those participants who submit a full article, as a poster during registration, simply download the abstract of the article.

The deadline for sending the registration form is June 30th .
