The guys from Google care about the environment. They estimate that each character sent via Google Talk results in an emission of about 0.00000000000000034 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. Therefore, from now on, Google Talk will convert all our messages into slang messages - this will save millions of characters that we spend to empty.
For example, you want to write:

This text will be converted to:
, 20$
So far it works only in English (IMHO, AFAIC, etc), but I am sure that localized versions will appear soon.
