The course covers the basics of IT service management (IT Service Management - ITSM), systematized in the IT infrastructure library (Information Technology Infrastructure Library - ITIL) version 3. In the learning process, students share experiences, discuss both the real problems that arise in their work, and and practical examples given by the instructor. The most important role in the educational process is played by The Race to Results Service Management Simulation - this is the newest component in HP's educational portfolio dedicated to the organization of IT services. The game brilliantly shows how the ITIL life cycle, basic concepts, processes and roles work in the 3rd version of ITIL, and ultimately represents all aspects of Service Management.
