To solve it, Jobs sold his minibus, and Woz - an engineering calculator. This made it possible to collect $ 1,750 (quite good money for that time) and to “give birth” to Apple Computer.
However, another problem arose. Each of Steves owned 50 percent of the shares of the new company, and therefore when it came to disputes, it was difficult to reach a compromise - everyone’s share in Apple was absolutely the same. We needed someone third who would take on the role of a “controlling interest”. They became Ron Wayne, a colleague of Jobs at Atari. He was awarded 10 percent of the shares and ordered to resolve controversial issues. It is worth noting that it was Wayne who developed the first Apple logo, which was soon rejected because of its excessive complexity.
