Intel has demonstrated a soaring display

Intel engineers have developed a new kind of three-dimensional interface: with the help of a 3D camera and special glass, the illusion of "floating" controls is created, for which you literally need to "touch the air." The new interface can be used in public devices such as ATMs or photo booths - according to the developers, it is hygienic and safer than the traditional one.
3D cameras have been used to control various devices before; Intel's novelty is that hand motion recognition is combined with the projection of a visible three-dimensional image.
