Curiosity is back on the road after drilling. New panorama of Mount Sharp

Rover Curiosity for a long time stood on the site, doing drilling work and analysis of the composition of rocks at the drilling site. But now all the work is finished, and the rover is again moving toward its goal - Mount Sharpe.

By the way, only 4 kilometers are left to the mountain, most likely, the rover will reach the site already this year. Well, in the meantime, Curiosity takes photos of Mount Sharpe from afar, and the support team makes up these panorama photos. One such panorama is already available, photos are posted below.

But a fairly detailed map of the movement of the rover, from the moment of landing, to the present. Now the rover makes its way from 30 to 100 meters per day. Sharpe Rover does not move in a straight line (in this case, the path would be less, being about 3.5 kilometers), but along a slightly different trajectory, taking into account the obstacles encountered on the way.

The total path of the rover since landing is more than 7 kilometers. This is not a record, but the result is impressive anyway.
