Rosette Mission: Journey to the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko through the discoverer of the comet
Today I came across a very interesting news: about the Rosette mission, about which more than once and not two wrote on Habré, said the discoverer of comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko. This is Klim Ivanovich Churyumov , who in May gave a lecture on this topic.

As for the mission itself, it consists in landing the Phil module on a comet. The module is aboard the Rosetta interplanetary station. By the way, this station and the module is not far from the comet - about half a million kilometers.
