Here, for example, many people want to have ODD always at hand, but don’t you think there is any similarity with storing junk in the garage - maybe it is useful? If you use a new MacBook at work or at home - let the external drive itself is and will undoubtedly be connected when needed. But on the road - how often is it really needed? Or let it be, but not hurt? :)
As for the lack of Ethernet - isn’t this a stimulus for moving to the very mobility that a laptop should ideally be? And as we can see today, most people who have a laptop also have a lot of wires to it - a mouse, a network, food, etc. I'm not saying that this is bad, I am talking about a step forward. The same can be said about most of the other “minuses” of the new MacBook.
It is also important to remember - with the release of Air, Apple did not stop selling the MacBook and the legendary MacBook Pro. Do not like Air - take them. But she gave a certain layer of people the freedom of choice, a new choice. Is it that bad?
